However, we are equally in need of an organist/pianist because both positions (director and organist) are currently held by a retiring husband and wife team. Our hope is to (at minimum) secure an organist for our Sunday morning worship hymnal selections, but having both positions filled would be optimal.

On behalf of Christ Central Presbyterian Church in Tampa, we are seeking qualified candidates for our part-time Director of Music position. The role requires approximately ten hours per week, with additional responsibilities during major liturgical seasons. Regular commitments include Sunday worship at 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday evening choir rehearsals. As well as planning and leading music for worship, the Director of Music will oversee the process of identifying, evaluating, and securing a qualified church organist and/or pianist, with the support and participation of church leadership throughout the search.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Merritt Island, 5555 N. Tropical Trail, Merritt Island, FL 32953, is seeking an organist and choir director to provide organ and piano music for worship services weekly at 9:30am on Sundays and for any extra seasonal services (Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas, etc) and choir rehearsals one evening a week. Availability for weddings and funerals as needed will be expected, and a separate reimbursement will be provided.
